Karen Gibbs worked for many years in critical care as a registered nurse. Karen became a nurse practitioner because she has a passion for learning and sharing her knowledge with patients to help them improve their health.
“What I enjoy most is building relationships with patients and helping them reach their healthcare goals,” she says.
She is board-certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has a passion for caring for patients with all types of general gastroenterology and hepatology issues.
Karen enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading and baking. She also raises and trains quarter horses. She appreciates the unique personalities of her horses and she loves to see them learn and grow. She is a member of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association and is part of the barrel racing community.
