Jonathan Gonenne, MD
Dr. Jonathan Gonenne is board-certified in gastroenterology. Dr. Gonenne is trained in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and has a special interest and focus in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
In addition to helping patients, he enjoys getting to know them and learning about their personal lives and interests. He received the Oregon Cancer Foundation Swallows of Hope Award 2018, and he serves on the board of the Oregon Cancer Alliance.
Dr. Gonenne has three daughters and a house full of pets that keep him busy and grounded. He enjoys spending time exploring Oregon with his family, playing tennis and Blues harmonica. He and his wife, who is a schoolteacher, are active supporters of education programs in Eugene.
